100% I would've played Branthwaite, and agree, I'm just saying neither of those played bad.

Need TFG to be done and dusted asap. Only then can we move on, I think unless we're in the bottom three come January or on less that 15 points Dyche probably isn't getting the boot. TFG will most likely want to use five/six months to get the building blocks in place off the field so they can be fully prepared for the summer transfer window and support of the new manager.

That said i'd be quite pleased if we can get to the 30 points mark and bin Dyche off a couple of games before the season is out. Give the final few games to Baines. Dyche doesn't need to be at the end of season farewell at GP.

Why don't we press anymore? We did it a little bit more because of the way Southampton set themselves up to fail passing out from the back but our forward line are just letting the opposition get 40 yards away from their own goal before even considering putting a press on.

I swear it hasn't always been like this under Dyche. Does he have that little trust in the ability of the team to hold it's shape and recover into positions?

I think when we've pressed high previously we had the likes of Harrison, Doucouré and Garner, who are much better suited than McNeil, Ndiaye and Lindstrom in a high press. Dom isnt particularly good at it either.

I think player availability, home/away and other team's tactics/personnel play a big part in how we set up and have our tactics. I get that the way Saints play it should have suited us to press high. The other thing is when we've not pressed well, we've conceded easy goals. Sitting deeper has largely fixed what was a big problem at the start of the season.

It gives more confidence to the whole back four, the centre half next to him and the full back, who can push forward a little more, knowing Branthwaite can cover with his pace. Since Keane has been back in, we have seen Myklo go forward less.

Arsenal would not leave Saliba or Gabriel on the bench, Liverpool would not with Van Dijk. It’s just dinosaur Dyche showing his costly love for his old boys. It will take Keane making a massive mistake before he’s dropped or a 3-0 drubbing.

This is where I am. Why have we stopped? The best version of Dyche was actually quite good. This is the shittest version of a Dyche team and I can't wait to get rid.

It's definitely this but it's also the backline too... If the forwards press then the midfield need to as well which leaves the slowest backline in the league massively exposed.

Bringing in Branthwaite would help a bit but you're still left with Young, Tarks and Mykolenko. Think although he's been really good lately it's time to drop Young and bring in Patterson from the cold because we need some pace back there to do anything other than sit back and low block.

That would be great but there is no way he’s doing that. I would like to see what a manager gets out of Patterson and the rest, asap.

Southampton would have been the perfect game to bring Branthwaite back. Get him back up to speed against a team he should be fairly comfortable against and not over stretch after injury.

Instead, He’ll probably see some minutes against Brentford after Keane has a shocker (he’s overdue) and then Branthwaite’s first post-injury 90 will come at Man U where he’ll be pushed to the limit.

Think he will be gone {hopefully} when the takeover gets done, Can't see the FG sticking

We will definitely be bottom 3 by Xmas if we keep playing the way we are and not playing our best players need to get Jared back in the team give Patterson a game at right back keep Mangala in the team and try lindstrom in the 10

All these crosses across the six yard box. Bournemouth pulling it back onto the pen spot again and again. Wingers and full backs floating balls invitingly across the box for strikers to rise and meet them. Threaded balls in behind. Touch and spin. Take it on your chest and dig.

There's so much more to football than what we're getting.
