Is Dibbling quick at all? Didn't look the rapid wide player we need. Good no doubt but would he add the pace we desperately require?

Think I’m at the flap stage where if we aren’t getting the 6 players we need I’ll take us overpaying for like 3 just to make sure we land some targets to improve the starting 11

Get the Vag man in for right back, Deadly Doug in at centre mid and Fellows in for right wing, then paper over the cracks with some of the kids as back up and pray we don’t need them

I wonder what PSR Dobbin is up to now, he’s a pacy winger 🤭

I certainly don't see Our Tim going out on loan, either (and realistically, he's too old to really need one - might just be a case of "he is what he is" like Tom Davies). Use him as a role/depth player until an offer comes in or his contract expires.

Dibbling is a weird one if they're looking to recruit on the cheap. I'd be surprised if he is someone we're really pursuing. He's already had the PL experience and generally means a hefty asking price...which likely wouldn't be worth it.

It feels like we're trying to go fishing for bargains, seeing if any team is willing to negotiate...so probably we won't see much movement unless it's closer to the end of the window when the options for all parties start to narrow.

Arsenal have just spunked big money on Gyokeres and we were turning our noses up at him a bit over a year ago because “Doing it at Coventry means fuck all”

He didn't really do that great at Coventry. Was about 1 in 4 without penalties

Thats pretty good. Everton was about 1 in 4 under Dyche (at least it felt like that).

He’s not happy with the “transfer committee” already isn’t he?
