He needs to take the shackles off. It’s ok to concede but just not 3 or 4 goals a game.
We’re bouncing along at a point a game and it will be a struggle to get to 38 points if he’s not prepared to at least let them have some threat going forward.

I’ll be honest, I’m beginning to flap. Getting to the stage where I can’t see where points are coming from.
If Dyche stays and we stay up it will be because there are three catastrophically bad teams - not because we deserve to.

We've taken 10 points from the last 7 games so we are picking them up and at a rate beyond any chance if relegation if we continue to do so.
Need to find a way to balance solid defence with an actual goal threat though. The difference between wins last season and this where we've drawn or lost is that we scored quite a few winning goals from set pieces, whereas this season it seems teams have figured out how to stop us doing this.

Unfortunately, those points have come from a relatively easy run of games compared to what we have coming up.

Yes but they we'll have other periods of easier games too. Last season we went on a couple of runs of picking up points and then went 11 premier league games without a single win... Everyone was sure we were doomed and Dyche had to go then, but guess what? We then started picking up points again.

It’s a case of better the devil you know for me. A significantly better manager would cost a lot of money we don’t have and I can’t see us getting an appointment right for an up a coming manager, especially one who wants to work with this squad. Results should improve with Branthwaite back enough to see us safe. Look at it in summer when we can spend.

The Friedkins have finally sacked Juric - hopefully they apply the same philosophy at EFC

Based on how quickly they've dismissed managers at Roma then I will be surprised if Dyche sees 2025 as Everton manager.

Nah it’s just football or lack of it from this coach he will be gone by Xmas no way we beat those teams in December playing like we are but I suppose for you it’s all because the players are shit not the coach

Yeah, I can't see how they keep him if any of them watch this turgid stuff. Southampton should have been the last straw. Sat back against a side like that until the last ten.

Think he'll have to pull something quite special out to survive December imo.
Brentford
United
Wolves
Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea
City
Forest
Get two wins somewhere against Brentford Wolves and forest, and a draw somewhere else.
Wow, less than 1 point per game and I'd probably take that ATM, because I have a feeling we don't win any of them.

You can’t beat those teams by just giving them the ball and hoping to score on the counter no chance 20% possession in those games equals a hammering

I’d say that’s how teams like us beat a lot of those teams isn’t it?
