Mad we didnt do the 1 year extension. Maybe we want to offer him 2 on reduced terms.

Just sensible business

Can’t be having someone sat on the bench on £120k a week

Hopefully we’ll renegotiate at a much lower figure

Yeah, El Bobble saying we'll not trigger the one-year extension which makes sense given his obscene wages. I'd like him to go but I imagine we'll offer him a new contract on reduced wages.

Yeah he's on crazy money. Absolutely the right decision not to renew him on that. He won't get it anywhere else but saudi

Maybe we offer him a deal with incentives for when he passes to a fucking team mate.

Joking aside, he’s done well for us, scored some very important goals and I’d like to keep him albeit as a squad player. 120k is far too much for that though.

I’d keep him at £60k max a week.

I would very much like him to stay 2 years with an option on lower wages would be fine.

You can keep the likes of Gana and Doucoure in the midfield, sure. Pick one.

I'd keep him around if the price is right.

We should be keeping both. Whilst also looking to improve on both in the summer.

You cant just bin off 2 of our guaranteed starters and think it will be sound we will replace them.

Sensible decision given his age, waining of influence and wages. We’ve been needing to transition away from him for a while. I’d keep him around for another year on reduced wages, but if he wants to find that last lucrative deal then fair enough. Thanks for the memories and best of luck 🫡

Shouldn't start another match for us this season, had enough of watching him in an Everton shirt tbh.

Wouldn't be overly bothered if we didn't offer him a new deal.

His times up here.

Newborn baby in the house too, so bound to be tired.
