Given how poor we have been for so long, it's amazing that Pickford is right up there as one of the best keepers in the league for so long.

It's not just that he's been good, he's been doing it for 8 seasons and honestly has continued to get better.
Not amazing at all - he’s getting more practice than any of them!

We can thank him for the reason we've stayed in the prem.

He's obviously a bit of a lunatic for sticking around. He deserves more than any of them to play for a better everton than the 1 he's been playing for

In fairness he was quite poor for a period. Seems like we had a season maybe even more where he underperformed

His poor spell was like 3-4 seasons ago

People wanted him sold last season possibly even up to the start of this season

His poor spell was really poor, and for a sustained period. Most posters on here, including me, were happy for him to be sold and replaced.

Thank god we know nothing.

Quite astonishing that so many people outside of us don’t rate him and think the likes of Ramsdale & Pope should be playing for England ahead of him

Googles AI just game me some interesting pickford stats
Real-world stats

Saves: Pickford averages 2.43 saves per match
Clean sheets: Pickford averages 0.29 clean sheets per match
Top speed: Pickford's top speed is 30.7 km/h
Distance covered: Pickford averages 41.61 km per match
i didnt realise he was so quick and i that he had such an engine on him, must cover every blade of grass 3-4 times over

Think it's the Internet. People just join an echo chamber of craziness. Think people genuinely believe now that he's got really tiny arms

Yeah I got plenty of pelters for standing by him during that spell, he was becoming fairly universally disliked.

Ancelotti sorted him out brilliantly though bringing on Olson and dropping Pickford, made him really step up. Plenty of shouts about him being the new Joe Hart around that time.
