Would have been great to see Goodison under the lights one final time.

Close to ruining the whole thing for me tbh.
I wanted to be there a good few hours before the game on Goodison road soaking in the atmosphere.
Why was everyone kicking off over yhe possibilty of it being a night game?
That’s a lot better than this.
The Monday night game was just the opposite of this, shite finish time with people maybe needing to get away or arrange round public transport etc. It was probably the lesser of the two evils but both were pretty shite given all the options available.

On TNT at least, so there's a chance for us at home of decent pre- and post-match coverage, rather than Sky cutting away as soon as possible to preview the other games.

Hopefully they let someone like Osman commentate.

Would rather it was 3pm and not on TV than 12pm on a Sunday.
Worst possible kick off time imo.

Guarantee if this was the shite or Man United then they'd probably move all the other matches to earlier kicks offs and give them a 6pm slot. It's a joke.

(3rd post in a row, clearly not fuming)
Sky showing their true colours as well. They get first pick and have clearly gone for one of their Sky6. Cunts.

I think the club and the fans forum have had more of a say in this than sky or the premier league.
Could have been 4pm on a Sunday which suits everyone but they insisted on it not being the last day so we have this.

It's more than likely a security issue so people don't get bladdered before the game because of the high emotions on the day. I mean, have you ever tried unbolting a stand pissed? Not easy

There’s nothing personal in this from any of the broadcasters, it’s simply a viewing figure decision. A game between a lowly already relegated team and a lower half team is a meaningless dead rubber to the general football viewing public, that all it is.

I'm not sure. I think a lot of neutrals will have far more interest in this than usual. I was interested in the West Ham v Man United game when they were leaving Upton Park. Wouldn't normally have cared.
Also, it's not like there are that many vital games left. Title over, relegation places will definitely be decided by then. There's the possibility that some games will be important for the battle for 4th, 5th, 6th but there aren't any really marketable fixtures. I think this is a very appealing fixture for that game week.

That’s definitely another way of looking at it.
