Wow ! But then again BBC only reporting what Talksport saying, think that’s really unprecedented for an out of work manager to say if you sack this guy I will take his job.

It was probably more along the lines of a hypothetical posed to him by one of those TalkSport jackals. Like “If they got rid of him would you take it to the end of the season?”

Would be disappointed in Potter if he replied “yeah, sure I’d take his job”

Yeah it was probably not set up or phrased anything like that.

I like Potter a lot, but genuinely dont think he could cope with how are fans are. A lot of pressure at this club.

I would tend to agree if we get a coach who wants us to play out from the back how long before we start hearing kick it long at the new stadium potter or anyone else who comes in is going to have to change the mindset and mentality immediately so that the fans are on board

I think which players we have will determine patience. If it's Tarks popping it off to Doucs who plays it to Harrison we'll all be so stressed that we just want them to kick it long. Not that the pass to Harrison would be within 10 yards of him.

I suppose it’s all about perception really I reckon a better coach can get these players playing much better football especially if they are coached to do so the lads that are more pro dyche tend to throw out the argument that these players are crap and can’t be coached to play guess we will find out soon enough because they won’t all be going when the new coach arrives

John stones is one of the best ball playing CBS this country has ever produced and the crowd hated him so at some point you have to sort of say, fuck the crowd, give me results and they will catch up eventually.

Mad how dan burn, Lewis dunk, and dale stephens managed it.

Almost like it’s more about the system, where you want the players to be and how you coach the players than it is the individuals.

Think the problem with him was when he was dribbling around his own box in injury time against arsenal I think.

Everton fans don't want it kicked long or hate playing out from the back. We just want something done well.

That's not right, the crowd got annoyed when he tried a Cruyff turn inside our own six yard box once and he got some stick off some fans at a petrol station after an away defeat. It's nonsense to say the crowd hated him.

That’s the squad Graham potter inherited at Brighton.

I seem to recall he had them playing well from the off.

There’s loads of players amongst that squad who people would have said can’t play his style of football.

He wouldn’t have an issue with this squad.

Also, Jack Harrison’s best football of his career come under Marcelo Bielsa so he’ll be fine as well.

He also seemingly got Maupay playing well.
