About half the people there are in the wrong place if you want them all standing, as there's plenty of old folks who won't be up to it.

The entire South Stand. It's supposed to be the atmosphere generating stand in the ground. If you want to sit down for 90 minutes then there's the North, West and East.

If you're in the Upper South then expect people to sit down mostly but get up off their seats for exciting moments, attackers, counters, etc. Never got told to sit down anytime I was in the Upper Gwladys, so South Stand shouldn't be any different.

It's not quite as simple with the ballot system where you don't get the choice of seat though.

I don't have a problem with standing at certain points in the match but it is fucking annoying when everyone else has sat back down and a couple of people remaining standing, that's fucking annoying like.

The ballot gives you a first and 2nd choice for seats

You do get a choice of 2 stands in the ballot system though. I feel (with no evidence) that it's generally season ticket holders anyway because most on a ballot ticket would just let it go and keep quiet for the sake of one game.

The South Stand, our supposed blue wall, is for creating the atmosphere and telling people to sit down does the exact opposite of that. Any other stand then by all means tell people to sit down but not for the South Stand imo.

I'd imagine/hope this will be sorted next season if club allows people to change their ST seat.

I remember on the seat availability that was shown during the season ticket sales windows earlier this year that there was loads of availability in the South and in the North, but really limited in the East and West. So I suspect a big part of the problem is that you've got people that would have liked to have gone to the East or West and are more the sitting down types but they've ended up in the South stand as they couldn't get East or West.

As @Shogun says then hopefully the club will allow people to move next season and it might get better, but I'm not sure whether this will be the case. I suspect the East and West are being kept with low % of season ticket seats taken as these are the ones you can flog via packages and other over-priced methods.

It’s horrible tbh. The yellow stickers will just make things worse. There’s no vibe or atmosphere at all in there.

I remember as an excited teenager having a push my shoulder down as I was about to stand up in the top balcony.

I must be lucky as I've not really seen any of that around me where I am in the Upper South.

Chances are that overall it's not really a big issue.

Maybe but tbf there are lots of people that seem to be encountering it. We've also had people nearby who clearly aren't the usual sort of people you'd expect to find in the type of area that the South is supposed to be, not knocking them as we've had no grief but can defo see why there are issues
