Ugh, hydration breaks with commercials just feels very, very disingenuous.

You're making it into four quarters and I really hate that.

Not sure if that is a US coverage thing? Did they put ads on in the ITV coverage too?

The same ITV that put ads on even when the game is still going? They fucking love hydration breaks

I know people bang on about Wembley but given its rich World Cup history, the games and moments that have taken place in this ground, I’d have to say THIS is the real cathedral of football.

Just as a football arena it’s a lot better as well.

Wembley is awful.

4 minutes of additional time that's including the hydration break
new rules about physios coming on and a 1 minute off the pitch rule coming into effect there I think

Haven't seen anything from Mexico that would have me worried about playing them in the last 16. Obviously home advantage and atmosphere would help them in a massive match, but overall we should have too much quality to beat them.

A bit disappointed by Mexico a bit after they scored. Maybe it's just good game management but it all seemed a bit pedestrian after that.

If they get another early second half though they'll probably be able to coast it and bring on their new wonderkid.

Closest I’ve ever been to nuWembley was an adjacent roller disco which had been hired out to Evertonians who could t get tickets for the 2009 semi and final.

I went to see England v Scotland in the rous cup in the old Wembley though. I just remember barb wire everywhere.

South Africa just trying to hand it to Mexico. It's like Southampton under Russell Martin stuff.

Brain dead tactics these.

Why are they playing a high line like that.
