Always think it's a very bad sign if you get battered at home and finish the match without a single yellow card

Potter will be done in terms of PL jobs if this one ends badly won't he?
Will need to build his reputation back elsewhere I'd imagine.

Yeah, I think so. He had credit in the bank from Brighton so when Chelsea went to shit, well, it's Chelsea and that club is not a good yardstick to judge anyone but he had to be decent at West Ham afterwards and it just hasn't gone well at all. If he doesn't turn it around fairly sharpish he's pretty much done with PL management.

Looking at West Ham's squad, it's quite good, tbf.
Wan Bissaka
Paqueta
Bowen
Summerville
Soucek
Diouf
They all get in our first 11, don't they?
Fullkrug
Killman
Alvarez
Aguerd
Todibo
These are all half decent, aren't they?

I think West Ham’s squad is poor. Way too many important players past their best.
It sounds okay if you think of their entire body of work but Ward-Prowse and Soucek is a quietly pathetic midfield pairing.
We could find uses some of their players but I wouldn’t trade places with them.

Yeah look at some of the midfielders Potter had at Brighton and then last night he's got a midfield two of Ward-Prowse and Soucek. Utter madness not investing in some upgrades and expecting anything good to come of that.
I think Potter's worse trait in recent times as a manager is selecting which clubs to join.
