Yeah, they want to enjoy the Southampton match - an awful lot of work goes into these displays but they don't want to miss anything of the last match there.
Which is fair enough.

Looks like it's happening but with most of the ground being knocked down. Probably the old bits with the Park End remaining and it'll only really be the footprint of Goodison. I can get on board with that, I'd have hated some parts of the old Goodison to be left and some knocked down but if it's pretty much all the historical bits away and leaving a footballing hub then that could be a good things.

Very surprised at this.
Will be delighted if it is a platform for the women’s team and the women’s game in general, but there will need to be some big changes to become financially viable I think (in my own inexpert opinion).

Evidence for a PSR sale to a separate entity within the group?
Which hopefully offsets the additional costs of dismantling/redevelopment.
I'm still not sure.

Isn't that a contradiction?

See the club are asking people without tickets to not come to the ground

No consideration for life long fans who just want to be there to say farewell to a huge chapter in their lives

I always sneer at kopites for constantly bunking in (they were at it again against Spurs). Learned nothing.
It's pretty standard comms for an oversubscribed event to discourage people coming and creating a hazard to life when they do not have tickets.
Deffo a difference between "County road for a pint" and "going the ground" though.

It’s normal for the police and the club to discourage people turning up to manage the crowds on Goodison road.
It will be chaos so needs to be managed.

Won't make one iota of difference
It'll be good vibes though I think.
Personally, I'm quite glad for my last memory of Goodison Park to be the Ipswich match rather than standing outside the ground without a ticket to get in it.
