Lukaku is a bit of a meme now isn't he. Should have been 1 of the best target men ever. Feel like he tried to move away from that second half of his everton career onwards. Think lukaku being lukakus biggest fan has hindered his progress.

Mad the career that Lukaku has had when he still struggles with basic ball control at times.

Lost his agility when he decided to go to Pogba in LA and bulk up for Man United.

All very laboured and off the cuff with Belgium. Don't look particularly well drilled at all.
Lobotka's running the game, as he often does.

Hahaha Lukaku stealing Onana’s goal, but he’s offside surely?

Leave it and it'd be 1-1

Doku's terrorising them every time.

Remembering him trying to steal Davies goal against city. Even went as far as pretending he'd touched it when he clearly hadn't

Surely Belgium are going to score here.

One thing I will praise Lukaku for is that he's still always playing on the shoulder, running in behind and stretching the opposition, which then allows their creative players space to play in and gives them options to pass to.
England would be more effective if Kane could do that, rather than dropping into the hole where there's already Foden and Bellingham congesting that space.

Lukaku was never much of a target man.
He’s always been at his best running onto the ball into space. At his peak, there were basically no centre backs who could match him for pace and win a shoulder-to-shoulder battle with him. He was a menace in space.
The first touch, hold up play, and general decision making with the ball have always been erratic. He’s sometimes capable of doing these things well but never with any degree of consistency.
At this point, you’re just trying to get the ball onto his left foot with an angle for a shot. One of the nice things about Lukaku is that a goal feels inevitable when you get him the ball in one of his spots.
Ha, right as I hit submit on that. Bang.

There’s something about a total lack of cohesion, like Belgium here, that’s absolutely maddening to watch.
Nothing makes football more unwatchable than a group of players that look like they’ve never met.

I rate Tedesco as well, so it's a bit of a surprise.
Loving these Euros.
