Seems Wolves were trying to get this done, so not sure if we're trying to hijack the deal or if it's just agent talk to boost the price.

Probably the most exciting RB link we've had though and I'm glad these are resurfacing as a strong defence is right now our bedrock and I don't want to go into the season with the current options there.

Would be great to add this sort of profile into the squad. 15 mil euros was quoted, so price seems reasonable too.

Ha. Completely misread his FBRef which has winger as his default position.

Kinda impossible to rate him based on the number of positions played last season. He looks like a very attacking fullback or a very defensive winger depending on which lens you view him through.

Not like Tete at all though, scrub that comment from the record.

Everton are showing an interest in Midtjylland striker Franculino and recently had him scouted in the Europa League.

Already in the sights of Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, as Africafoot exclusively revealed , the Bissau-Guinean international center forward Franculino Djú is now targeted by the English Premier League.

Indeed, Everton have made contact with the FC Midtjylland striker's representative, according to information from Africafoot . The Toffees have sent emissaries to Edinburgh to monitor the 21-year-old player during the Europa League second round match between Hibernian FC and FC Midtjylland.

The Danes won the match 2-1 after extra time. Although Franculino Djú failed to score a goal during the match, he was a key factor in his club's victory.

A profile that has simply seduced English scouts, who have begun discussions with his representative, with a view to a possible transfer before the summer transfer window closes. Under contract until June 30, 2029, Franculino Djú now has an estimated market value of 13 million euros on Transfermarkt .

The Guinea-Bissau international is enjoying an impressive start to the season with FC Midtjylland. In four matches played across all competitions, Djurtus (Lycaon) has already scored five goals and provided one assist.

Certainly looks versatile, has the look of a Moyes player. Again though, not sure how much there is to the link as most places talking about Wolves' interest.

Surprised at the desire for Hackney. Seen a lot of their fans saying they don't rate him, gives the ball away too often and cheaply. Makes a lot of silly mistakes. If he's doing that in the Championship I definitely worry about him stepping up the Prem. Having said that, sounds like an Everton player.

I always question whether we have the budget for these types of transfers but would love to see us do a few more.

Ideally getting a player one move before they blow up and cost us £35m.

Likely need to loan him out though - not sure where he plays with Beto and Barry as 1 and 2 and Chermiti there as well.

Say around a £70m outlay would be decent business.

Bit uninspiring but that’s probably because they’re all English and have boring names like Hayden Hackney and James Justin.

I’d take that if offered to me right now.

------------------------Pickford

Justin------Tarks---------Branthwaite-----Aznou

-------------------KDH------Gana

Dibbling-------------Alacaraz----------Ndaiye

----------------------------Beto

Compare that to last year's team and I think we'd all be pretty happy with that as an improved starting eleven.

Looks like a Leicester side you overrate and then they go down

No way Moyes is starting Alcaraz and/or Aznou.

They’ll both get plenty of chances as subs and in rotation though.

Would definitely like another winger in there to have ndaiye in the middle.

Also don’t see aznou starting many games.

Yeah nearly put Mykolenko down but wanted to include Aznou as think by the end of the season he'll be the starting LB or at least heavily involved.

Alcaraz will definitely be starting as it stands as we don't have anyone else for that position. Any upgrade would improve the team further.

I'd be pretty confident of a 10th placed finish, or certainly around there with that lineup up but Myko in for Aznou.

I think Moyes will do everything in his power to not start Alcaraz when competitive matches begin.

Alcaraz is highly erratic and does foolish things despite his obvious talent. He is the epitome of a player Moyes wants to bring along slowly through sub appearances.

Just the feeling I get from how he’s deployed him so far. The trust isn’t there yet.

Fucking hell lads we were all having a massive w@nk about Alcaraz 3 months ago, and now he needs someone to start ahead of him?
