To be fair it does say “at least one major” signing, so possibly two, my guess is Luiz and Dibling.

What does minor mean though, cheap/loans? Squad fillers are needed as well as starters.

The Echo never break any stories regarding Everton (or the other lot for that matter). They're miles behind the curve. It's genuinely not worth reading anything into Beesley's comment. Boyland or Joyce will inform us if something is imminent.

I'm chatting shit.
But yeah, pinning all my hopes on "at least one major signing" meaning first team starter for 38 games (and a few more Aznou type signings)

Yes.
Sadly Paddy & Paul have been silent for almost the entire time the team has been in the US

Wasn't it also Mikautadze we were linked to earlier in the window? Haven't heard much of this fella but he looks to have moved pretty regularly. What's the take on him, Georgia seem to have quality on the left.

“I Think There Will Be Deals Next Week - We’re Getting Much Closer” | David Moyes Reacts

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feels unusual for him to say anything before deals are done, but maybe he's had a prod from the execs.

Think any major signings would only happen once we returned from the US, likes of Luiz etc. will want to speak to Moyes in person.
