One year deal on heavily reduced money to be used as a sub is the most I'd go.

Loved his celebration yesterday. Think we will give him a new deal. Wouldn't be surprised if it was 2 years on reduced terms. AS much as we like or dislike him as a footballer, hes a valuable member of the squad, and managers keep picking him because of that.

Yeah don't think anyone is saying he's a starter but to say he has no worth to the squad is madness

Think hes just making it clear he wants to stay but the club isnt offering him a reasonable deal. Saves face when he goes.

It is what it is.

He's entitled to want the salary he thinks he's worth and that maybe he can get elsewhere, and we're entitled to say ''no thanks, big man''.

Little bit disappointed in his comments there though. Seems to overstate his own value a bit and comes across as quite entitled.
