Easy win over a poor Fulham team. Loved the atmosphere and the stadium experience was far smoother this time around than against Brighton. Everything worked perfectly.

Back to the good old days when a home game against Fulham is a guaranteed 3 points.
Guy I used to play cricket with had been to a game at all 92 grounds in the top 4 divisions, until the HD opened, so he bought a membership, bought a ticket and went to the game today. Just sent me a picture.

Crowd was proper up for it today and the players responded.
Best performance of the season but I do think it was against a poor side.
Still outclassed them across the park and should 2-0 flatters them.

It was very quiet all the way up until the players came out and then we were different class.
Fulham are probably just about ok from a quality perspective but they will be in a battle this season. Far too easy for us to play the ball around.

Felt north stand was a little quiet, certainly in north east corner upper where I was.
Had a cracking chat with a fella before the game on the concourse and was sat next to a Peter Reid lookalike who had worked at Goodison Park for 35 years but fell foul of a change in rules where the club used to give long standing workers a free season ticket when they retired. This fella just got a phone call to say sorry they had ended this tradition.
Decent performance though, important 3 points and Fulham were exceptionally poor. Canโt remember a game we were involved in with so many disallowed goals.
