Real shame. Such a stupid way to lose ultimately.
Still didn’t really do enough without a few key players. A few moments, and arguably could’ve had a penalty but not really enough overall.
That said, they really didn’t do much either.

Good lord.
Turgid.
Boring.
That was unbelievablely bad.
Not a single player seemingly able to pass a fucking football.
We offered NOTHING

Apart from the O'Brien hand ball the defenders are the only ones to have done anything of note all game. Fucking dull that.

A team that lacks creativity loses 2 of it's 3 main creative players and doesn't create a single decent chance against championship contenders... Was always going to be a tough ask but also think the attacking players were constantly making the wrong decision which compounded the issue.

Yeah, MoTD are going to have to show a lot of the penalty claims (given and not) to flesh that out for the full slot.

Agree, unless you look amazing within 5 games, fuck them off, it’s the Everton way. Never played in this league before, no you do not get chance to settle and develop.

Rohl has showed what we has shown so far. Completely unsuited to this league, wants way too much time.
Not an uncommon thing, players need time to adjust. I wouldn’t be writing him off yet.

Hard to be too judgemental with Dibbling or Rhol because they've hardly played enough back to back games to develop. Barry is useless and has no intent on the pitch, whereas Beto chases and hounds you, even if he is shit

Dibbling looks like he doesn’t want to be here.

Not writing him off, yet. Just haven’t seen anything so far that would make me think he is worth £15m or warrants a place above someone like Armstrong. Has looked miles off it every minute he’s played.
But tonight wasn’t really about demonstrating how poor our squad players are, we knew that. It just confirmed what we all knew, that we are a mid table side and this league is poor if Arsenal are top of it.
