The aim should always be to win the league, otherwise you might as well give up. We might not be favourites, but stranger things have happened.

He did also say we’re limited for funds.

The limited funds thing might just be simply down to not wanting clubs to know we can actually afford to pay a reasonable amount.

Just impossible to read anything in to these things... We've bid for Doue multiple times, we've bid for other players, we might just use our existing players there... How much of these statements are actually meant for the fans?

I'd imagine very few.

Still think from his attitude and demeanour there is major friction behind the scenes he looks very frustrated when asked about transfers
