Grealish is the replacement for Doucoure btw, he'll be playing in the 10 with Ndiaye on the left. Dibling on the right when he comes in.

Let’s not revel too much, he could easily not play, and we get our arses kicked 3-0

Great loan signing but the option at 50m has to be the firmest of nos almost regardless of how well he does..

Last year of his contract on ridiculous money and city having zero use for him sounds absolutely nothing like 50m. The number is crazy. It's costing them for him to play for us this season but they think they might get 50m for him next?

I imagine the £50m option is to give City leverage in negotiations if we try to make it permanent next summer.

Player in last year of contract, settled in the North West, he’s just had a good season at Everton if we’re talking a permanent deal… they are holding no cards in this scenario.

Anchoring to a ridiculous number we’d never pay gives them a better starting point to talk about making it permanent.

It’s completely pointless.

They know they won’t get that money, we know we won’t pay it.

Yes, nobody is paying £50m with a season left, at best £15-20m.

Unless he gets 15g and 15a, then maybe it’s something like £30m-£40m

Hang on Sam, can I just stop you there? I’ve just been told that Jack Grealish is at Chiswick roundabout. So he should be with us very soon indeed. Stay tuned, stay tuned. Sam, sorry carry on.
