It wasnt great but I think we're getting to the point where
Moyes can throw on any 11 players from the squad and we'll get a base level of organisation and commitment. No defeat is great but that didnt ruin my evening to be honest.

Ian Wright said Beto's was a definite penalty. It was a foul in the area.

A bit like the Chelsea game, not at all worried about the result, especially with the players that are missing, these games won't define our season. Not having that this is a great league when that's the apparent best team in it and they needed a penalty to beat us.

Lots of winnable games to come and plenty to look forward to.

It's the fact we haven't been well beaten by either team, despite not playing well ourselves, which is the annoying thing. Although on the flip side if we would have scored first they both have other gears to go through and quality to bring on. We have two gears and nothing in reserve.

conspiracy theorist in me checking in here but I feel like the replay angle of that play was all wrong, showing him from his left where the kick just wasn’t properly visible.

I also feel like the replay seen on the monitor for their pen was the most unflattering angle not clearly showing the shove on O’Brien

And Myko too, although to be fair, he was about 90% shite, rather than complete shite.

Arsenal fans twice trying to sing Feed the Scousers before being roundly booed to silence both times.

Game was shit but what were we expecting? A limited team being made more limited by absentees with zero depth. Still took a stupid penalty to beat us, and we should have had a penalty ourselves imo for the kick on the back of betos foot.

Arsenal are horrible time wasting bastards, and their fans are cunts.

Stadium looking lovely though, and the 1878’s pulled no punches before kick off.

Is it permitted to add Grealish to the list? Love him but thought he was completely off the pace today. Even to the point of letting Mykolenko down 😮.

Meh did well against one of the best wingers in the world.

Done wanting anything more from him.

Has been this season, so so so much better than O'Brien.

Right side was awful, especially in the first half. O’Brien and McNeil contributed two fifths of feck all. Oh lord won’t you buy me a feckin right back!

Just a real lack of quality for us. Unsurprising given the absences of Ndiaye and KDH. Easy to defend Grealish in those circumstances as well. Tonight was crap but nothing to get upset about.

Four very winnable matches next
