I posted on my work group chat as soon as Newcastle's first goal went in. They love giving me loads of shit when Everton get beat. Apart from a couple of "Fuck off you bitter cunt" replies within a couple of minutes, now it's complete radio silence.
I'm tempted to go to work with no top on tomorrow, in honour of the Toon Army's heroic win at Wembley.

Can we now go and win every single game we have left and win the one we really want.

I think even if not for my son being a Newcastle supporter I'd have enjoyed them winning because it just means so much more to their fans and players... There's genuine joy all around here today kids have been allowed in to school wearing footy kits, people at the golf course all talking about it, local friends on Facebook absolutely buzzing. So much better than one of the established elite pretending they're happy about winning something they not so secretly believe is actually beneath them as a club.
