It was an awful watch yesterday and much of it is on the manager but by God the players are crap too. There's no real evidence to suggest these players are capable of much more either. Just about everything at the club needs replacing

Didn't Brighton finish 15th and 16th his first two seasons with players who've gone on to much bigger things. Wasn't iraola on the verge of the sack at the beginning

Two very good managers who would be getting much more out of this current squad than Sean dyche is.

Would be delighted to swap Dyche for Potter or Ireola right now, think either would be a huge improvement and a safer option than some statement signing like Sarri.

I'm not sure we'd convince Ireola to come right now, and he didn't win his first 11 matches there though so I'd opt for Potter now, seems a safer option, but either or if we waited until the summer.

I think I’d be fine with a new manager coming in now and getting us looking promising and playing in a modern, sustainable way, but still got us relegated, rather than stick with Dyche this year, survive on the last day, and then go into next season with a new manager, hardly any players, and a psychological dumpster fire to put out.

I dunno, though, getting relegated in our last season at Goodison whilst the shite walks the league would be so hard to take.

Fuck.

I think these players have more potential to play better football and score more goals, whilst not conceding a bunch because I think Dyche has absolutely gone and he’s past his use by date so badly he is like gone off, sour milk.

I think you play into Dyche’s narrative that he can do no more cos the players are so limited. I beg to differ, Jeff.

I think it’s a piss poor argument that no other coach could get better from these players they look so poorly coached from a football side of things can’t build attacks can’t get full backs overlapping can’t get a player in the 10 position who can pass or play players in that’s all down to bad coaching and too much loyalty to certain players imo a new manager and I bet we see much better stuff sooner hopefully than end of the season because if one of the 3 promoted teams starts putting a few results together we are in big shit

A new manager could get us playing better football, I don't think there's a y argument against that... The argument has always been that whoever comes in will have problems with whatever style they play because of the imbalanced and weak squad.

Someone could easily come in and have us playing what looks easier on the eye but still struggle to pick up points, so it's never been about they style of play more about who can negate the issues best.

I think it's quite clear our full back options are awful, even though Young has been really solid his lack of pace and inability to get up and down creates problems far beyond his own performances. Myko is a joke of a player.

Even in the 3-4-2-1 I want us to play under a new manager it still involves using McNeil as an LWB and O'Brien who no one knows if he can play in a back 3 or play as the RCB he'd need to.

However I don't believe Dyche is negating the issues well this season and I do think he needs to go... I just think whoever comes in will inherit all the same issues Dyche did and that we still have. I hope it'll get us more points and see us playing more attractive football, but it's no guarantee.

Big risk. He holds the record for most consecutive defeats in the PL. And flopped in the Bundesliga.

With how were attacking and the way he completely through the players under the bus yesterday, we'll continue to drop points and risk relegation.

He needs to go and it's the ideal time for it. New manager, transfer window, not the most difficult run of games, cup game. Get him gone.

We're struggling to pick up points now. He's done. The players know he's gone in the summer at the absolute latest, and half of them will be too, so they're invested in getting someone new in to make them look better to get a better payday wherever they end up.

Sorry, when I said better football I just met something resembling a plan to score goals other Tarkowski putting a header across the face of the goal from a set piece. I think Dyche’s trajectory is on a downward spiral here and as we need to score goals to stay in the premier league, I think a modern day coach is a better bet than this dinosaur who has served his purpose and ran his course with the players he is now only aggravating.
