I’m not that surprised.

This felt like it was going to happen. Spurs or Newcastle or someone of that ilk would’ve been linked heavily if he was going to move to another part of the country.

We were the only real option. And if he works as hard on the pitch for Everton as he did for Villa and City, it’s going to be a fun ride.
