I think he means: “horrible cunt”.

I think he looks a bit timid, for a big lad. Might just be nerves.

Do you mean...dog?
Sorry, no, like having a bit of fight and strength in him, not full-on clogger, but able to hold off players and use his strength and power.
Edit: Like
@Granite said, not timid or afraid to take control.

Ok cool.
Not sure where you're from but I don't think mongrel is generally a term that gets used much so just a heads up as can be offensive. Has some poor connotations certainly in the uk

He's an Aussie. I don't think it has those connotations over there when used in a sporting context. I hear it used on cricket coverage from time to time, to describe someone who's scrappy and intense.

He literally has geographic coordinates under his user name!

Yeah. The same one that’s on the national flag. Educate yourself.

In the UK the preferred word is "terrier".

A bit of a brap, a touch of the braps about him, he's gone full brap, heart of a brap etc. etc.

I had a case of the braps after some dodgy sushi last week.

Ok, wow, never knew that, it's certainly not offensive here but will do my best to remember that. It's in common use here in Aus, name of tough workboots... Intrigued, but will leave it at that.
