Also worth noting that Kenny Moyes is Cannon’s agent.
That fella from the Brinks Matt heist?

Need some movement on transfers ASAP.
The team is cooked going forward, we need at least two to freshen it up, non of this for the future bollocks neither.

Hopefully in this window when we bring players in it is not because they will be cheap and available and therefore only offer a marginal improvement or even the same quality as we already have.
I know the pool of available players in Jan won’t be as wide as the summer but surely the scouting department will have identified individuals that we know will be a significant upgrade to what we have. We might have to be creative in how we pay for them within the PSR framework

Managers have funny little quirks don’t they. I can’t remember who it was but I remember a player back in Moyes V.1 who said that he’d go mad if you took a shot from over 20yrds out. I think it was 20. Just outside the box iirc.
Imagine if the Dutch teams of 74 and 78 adhered to this, we’d be robbed of a few pearlers

Yeah, I'm on board with the nasty guy theory, I don't think you can chat that much bollocks and be a genuine or decent person.
I hate Martinez, absolute loath the man and the utter pish that would come out his mouth, honestly right up there with Benitez for me. Chatting shite on MNF, swanning around Brazil doing the World Cup while we had no pre season sorted out, then kicked out for handing out his access all areas pass to someone, post match interviews that didn't reflect the 90 minutes of crap we'd just witnessed, throwing Baines under a bus, all the not practicing defending set pieces etc, the players fitness falling off the cliff, "phenomenal", all the soft tissue injuries and countless other moments that boiled my piss.
Remember when Kenwright sat there all starry eyed after Martinez said "I'll get you Champions League", that's the kind of interview bollocks that people come out with and something Kenwright would love and fall for. In fairness he gave it a decent go until all his flaws that Wigan fans had told is would happen started appearing towards the end of his first season.
Yes on all this, and the boiling point for me was Kenwright and Moshiri interview post Chelsea Lukaku goal cup win, and the infamous “Whattamanager” line.
Ugh.
When Moshiri didn’t buy it and canned him, I thought that he was the one, man.
How wrong I was eh.

Looking at last night it’s clear players rather than who the managers is will be the key to keeping us up. Desperately need a right winger and someone to play in behind the striker as a matter of urgency. Also another striker if we cancel Brojas loan. Need full backs as well but they can wait til the summer

I think it's both, average players coached how not to score which lowers confidence going forward is a recipe for no goals.

Got a horrible feeling that Danny Ings is going to pop up some time soon.

This isn't too far off from the old 'We'll go with what we've got' chestnut that we loved from him so much.

Saw rumours (think it was Baz on Toffee TV) that Dyche really wanted him and the club wouldn't sanction it.

We can’t really be signing a striker until at least 1 leaves we could have 4 fit shortly I think a winger and a ball playing midfielder would massively help
