Does no-one think the players are shite? I can’t think of a manager in the word who gets wins out of this lot. Maybe a new manager bounce would see some better results but we have too many players who aren’t good enough. We need to buy

Would love if TFG listened to Matt Jones and Rob Vera on the blue room last night for an accurate summary of where things are heading.

The players are an absolute pile of crap. Our signings over numerous seasons now have been someone between awful and not very good but might be worth what we paid. We never address any of the problems with the team and haven't made a really good signing for the 1st team in God knows how long. Probably about 5 bloody years (it could be much longer than that)
If we got rid of everyone at the club. We'd probably miss 2 players and no staff

That is where we are at with these players: relegation squad
And that is the difficulty for any manager here
But, again, when someone takes the job, they know what they are getting into

Although Dyche has indicated that he was not told the full story about his position and promises have not been kept
Believable and I hear his frustration

I know, we are so lucky to have him right now. In fact, I don’t know what we would do without him. Dyche the hero, he’s letting us know it’s a basket case of a club and he’s dealing with more than we know and he’s keeping us a float with all the good old fashioned hard yards.

Can we add a simple 'Do you want him gone?' poll to the thread? Then those claiming there is a conclave of apologists will see there isn't and that everyone wants him gone and the arguments are around ither things?

The players are shite thing, while there is definitely some truth to it and this is one of the squads with the least amount of attacking talent we’ve ever had - still a fair few players that leave tend to show they are good at other clubs under other managers like Gordon, Iwobi, Lookman, Kean, Simms etc
Not saying this is all Dyche’s fault as not all played under him, but he certainly doesn’t do much to bring out the best of attacking talent
There has been a big malaise at the club since Carlo Ancelotti left, just been generally miserable for that entire time

Think that list shows how little talent we've had. Simms is a pile of shite and he's made it. Took lookman and kean years of failure. Generally we've just signed shite who remained shite.

I don't think a single person wants him to stay at this point
Think the new owners are desperate not to have to make a decision though.

I think the main crux will be whether TFG can get one of their main managerial targets mid-season.
If, say they can’t get their top 3 and are working down their list- do they pay a release to get their 4th choice? And that manager might (will) know we’re desperate and want a longer contract than maybe we were willing to give them.
Suddenly your paying a lot for someone you’re not sure about.

To the people thinking if we lose to Peterborough he will be sacked
We are not loosing this match sorry
I've got tickets to that match and we have won every game I've ever been to at goodison
Granted it's been a few years since I've been so that maybe explains why we don't win anything atm
Somebody give Hannu their season ticket and a lift if needs be.

I personally think this squad is playing at its absolute worst level.
Nobody can convince me this is all they’re capable of.
1 open goal in ten games. Come on lads.

Did he really say it wouldn’t be a bad run if you added wins to it
