It was a dig at Liverpool.
The last bit was but felt like he meant it before that

Ignore me. I've had a mare. I've seen it's been addressed elsewhere.

Would be very surprised and disappointed if we don’t have a replacement lined up.

David Weir seems to have been strongly linked recently.
Moyes mentioned last week about how a manager's job has changed so much over the years and that there's so many other things to do so I would hope that's a hint towards letting him manage the team and work with a DOF recruiting players rather than expect him to do all that as well.

Bit of a shame actually but there were rumours last year he was looking elsewhere whilst no doubt TFG will want their own person in the role.
Mixed on the success of the transfers but don't think anyone would pretend he's had an easy job here.

Yeah he's basically got us through some horrendous times and left us in a much better place ready for the next step.

Very hard to judge his time here given the state we were in. Think he's generally done well though

I don’t think he’ll be using his time here to launch himself into a bigger club off the back of an amazing performance - but it’s not like he did poorly either.

Either Dan Ashworth next or Moyes wants to work alone.
