The last few years they have basically been a richer version of us.

It's probably the best time to ever get that job. 14th in the league - you could probably cancel training and pick the team out of a tombola and climb from that position so someone vaguely competent gets them to finish about 7th and buys themselves twelve months of good will. Their expectation as a fan base has probably never been lower.

You're 5 "ha's" short, Bally.

Interested to see how he gets on.
Don't really want Man United improving, but always curious to see what a newer seemingly up and coming manager brings to the PL.

Think utd are in a bad position regardless now. They are short of the top teams in pretty much every position. They'll improve but it feels like they are a long way away from a title challenge and there's much more competition for top 4 now

Amorim/Ashworth makes sense on paper I think. Just a lot to do at that football club.
Luckily they can write off the last few years and start again because PSR doesn’t apply to them.

Phew ! Thank goodness PSR doesn’t apply to them because on top of the half a billion on players they now pay £15m to Ten Hag and £10m compo to Sporting, that rule change came just in time for them.

I think it's a mistake for Amorim. He should've waited for a better job. Insane amount of work to do at Man U, and very little patience.

Mark Robins at Coventry sacked. Thats a weird one given what he’s done there. 2 promotions and just a playoff away from the premier league.

Yeah, seems remarkably harsh. They won't go down either way but he has overachieved given the absolute shit show he inherited.

It gets worse, not only have they sacked someone who did a great job and was hugely popular with the fans, it sounds like Lampard is going to replace him.

I didn't think they enjoyed that spell in league two but they obviously fancy going back there.
