This Sunday, after 133 years of glorious history, the old and beloved Goodison Park 🏟️ bids farewell, the stadium with the record for the most matches played in the top flight of English football 🇬🇧 and which hosted five matches of the 1966 World Cup ⚽🏆 .

For Everton de Viña del Mar it is an honor to have had the opportunity to play the Brotherhood Cup in that beautiful stadium 🙌🏼 . In a humble tribute, we publish this video with previously unseen images of that unforgettable August 4, 2010 📹✨ and we thank our brothers from
Everton and EvertonESP for allowing us to live that experience. How wonderful it would be to welcome them to our Sausalito 💙💛 .

We thank Gianfranco Bassolo and Forever, The Series for so generously sharing this material with us.

“Goodison’s Last Light”

Beneath the scowl of Merseyside skies,
Where winter’s wind forever sighs,
She’s stood, unbowed, through wars and years,
Through joy and heartbreak, roars and tears.

The Grand Old Lady, iron and stone,
Built not just walls, but flesh and bone—
A second home, a sacred ground,
Where dreams and duty both were found.

She watched the Toffees rise and reign,
Dixie’s thunder, glory gained.
Kendall’s lions, boots ablaze,
Danced her pitch in golden days.

She heard the cries when titles slipped,
Felt the pulse of hope tight-gripped,
And in her heart, a silent grace,
For every near miss we’d embrace.

She saw the game become the world,
Yet kept her timbers proud, unfurled—
No glittered dome or silver gleam,
But brick and soul and skyward dream.

Fathers held sons in her embrace,
Mothers sang songs of their place.
Ashes scattered, voices raised,
All of them part of her days.

Now comes the close, the final hymn,
The turf soon kissed by other kin.
But while her stands may fall to dust,
She holds our memory and our trust.

For Goodison is more than steel—
She’s every chant, each aching heel,
She’s every matchday pint and prayer,
The silence just before the flare.

So let the crowd sing one last time,
Let echoes stretch beyond the climb.
No goodbye—just one last nod,
To history steeped in boot and sod.

Lift your voice, let banners fly,
Let one last song split Mersey sky.
And know wherever we may roam,
The Grand Old Lady walks us home.

Seeing people do their best ten goals at Goodison so gonna do mine. Goals I’ve seen live

Iwobi Vs Newcastle- We never see a last minute winner in the park end and it absolutely went off when this went in. Felt like the first great Goodison night for a long time.

Ferguson Vs United- The loudest I’ve heard Goodison. I was in the family enclosure and could feel the main stand shaking above me.

DCL Vs Palace- What a moment. The best night I’ve had at Goodison

DCL Vs the shite- That feeling of we might actually beat these was the happiest I’ve ever felt in that ground.

Lukaku Vs Chelsea- What a goal to send us to Wembley.

Radzinski Vs Southampton- Was right at the front of the Lower G that game. My first experience of proper Everton limbs

Rooney Vs West Ham- goal from the halfway line to seal his hattrick. The best goal I’ve seen at Goodison.

Baines Vs Leicester- His last goal for us and it was an absolute beauty.

Osman Vs Portsmouth- 95th minute first time on the swivel. Such an underrated goal.

Osman Vs larissa- Best team goal I’ve seen is score.

Probably missed loads of obvious ones off but they’re the ones that spring to mind.

Took the baby round the ground before to get some pictures of him.

Was loads of people round just soaking it in taking pictures.

Felt really emotional walking round with all the memories coming back to me.

It’s some ground like. I think the best one yet that the league has lost.

I was at that one. Fat Ronaldo played as well. He was only about 19 at the time and you could see he was going to be some player.
