Also known as half time.

In fairness, the dial-up that the club use every year is pretty poorly supported in 2024.

NEARLY! A great touch by Lindstrøm to cut inside and beat his man. His shot is saved, but Everton keep the move alive!
The Dane then picks out Calvert-Lewin with a through ball and the Toffees forward drags his effort narrowly wide of the far post.

O’Brien babysitting Holgate for this half, which will be fun for him

Ah fuck, I just realised that Holgate is going to play RB for us this season. He's the Godfrey replacement.

Edit: Nevermind, he's at CB. Got confused with him taking a throw.

Shame as well because there was the makings of a very decent team in that second half. Talking about Preston like.

Broadcast Update
The live broadcast of today’s game at Preston was impacted by an internet outage from the outside broadcaster. All fixtures across multiple territories being delivered by the host broadcaster, including Everton’s pre-season friendly at Deepdale, have been affected.

This resulted in the live stream delivered by both Everton and Preston on their club platforms, as well as all international broadcasts of the game, interrupted. The stream was re-established shortly before 4pm, after a 20-minute outage. Engineers continue to investigate the cause of the outage.

Most crucial part of our transfer strategy is not acquiring anyone with the same Christian name. Because I really doubt I am capable of learning how to spell his last name correctly.
