Eh.

There are similarities (lack of athleticism, decent looking production on a diet of long range shots and set pieces) but I think McNeil’s movement and team play are considerably better. He just doesn’t have a right foot and takes himself out of matches that way. Hard to do anything in certain inevitable situations without a right foot.

Sigurdsson had two excellent feet and still took himself out of matches. His movement and positioning were legitimately awful for someone so lethal with the ball at his feet. He should’ve been a top player but didn’t have it between the ears. A tale as old as time.

You're saying Gylfi showed poor judgement? :snigger:

Walking this back some.

He doesn’t even have the movement and team play going for him at all right now. Just completely apathetic, taking up space out there.

Homeless man’s Sigurdsson on current form.

Kind of disturbing that Dibling shows up much better for ball progression in what was a fairly apathetic sub appearance. Game state has something to do with it but even then… yikes.

His only use is standing out on the left and whipping balls in.

I hate that little head drop he does any time he needs to run for the ball.

Genuinely don't know what's happened to him.

Injury? Something behind the scenes?

I know he has always had his limitations but just doesn't seem the same player right now. He was super important to us staying up for a while there.

Something has deffo happened.

I know his gf was very ill last season and think they broke up in the summer.

He honestly looks like a smack head.

I'm not sure it is, football journo friend of mine mentioned it to me and its also in the telegraph this morning and it makes a lot of sense for all parties.

Sad how it's gone tbh as he has done well here all things considered, put up good numbers for a limited player.

But he honestly looks to have jacked it in to me.

Never been a huge fan myself and will feel a sense of relief if he is moved on.

I wish him well. Straight swap for CHO?

I scoffed until I remembered who’s managing Forest.

I’m not sure he’s one for Moyes either but I’ve wanted Hudson-Odoi forever and am livid we were too broke to get him when he went to Forest in the first place.
