Ukraine robbed of an injury time penalty. What is the point of VAR

Refereeing/VAR in international football is worse than the PL, Wales had two stonewallers not given.

If Croatia win then it makes no difference but it has been a farce

Wild scenes in Brazil for their match against Argentina. Brazilian police wildly swinging their police batons at the fans and injuring what looks like many.

Still can’t find any confirmation of what started the assault but match was delayed about 30 minutes due to it. Not a good look for Brazil.

Fans fighting in the stands during the national anthems made them charge the away section… as you do…

At least Brazil lost again, although I’ve seen it’s almost impossible not to qualify from South America for the next World Cup

Yeah was looking at that. 10 teams with 6 auto spots and a play off spot as well. Feels like a waste of time!

It always surprises me when this sort of shit happens in the 21st century.

Thought that myself, especially for a league playing in the football league.

I remember Benitez's Real Madrid (before he was quickly laughed out) getting kicked out of the Copa Del Rey after fielding Cheryshev who should have been suspended. Was hilarious because they realised half way through and subbed him less than a minute into the second half

First ever loss in World Cup qualifying at home. That’s a mad stat if I have ever heard one.
