Roxy is absolutely obsessed with him.
I know people have spoken him about having a weak mentality but this lad has been in and out of the side for years and he's stuck at it. He'll never be everyone's cup of tea but when he's on it he's just lovely to watch

The most improved player and biggest turnaround at the club in recent memory.
Never saw it coming. Continues to prove everyone wrong and has had a fantastic start to the season. Now undroppable, even if Branthwaite was fit. Crazy statement, but that’s how far he has come.

Let’s just all agree he was a good extension of contract when haters heads were falling off because we gave him another year, thank God we did so !

He's one of my favourite Everton players you know. I don't what the logic is behind it, just got loads of time for the lad.
Just a very professional person which you have to admire. No arrogance or spitting his dummy out, seems like a genuine and nice guy.
Really pleased we resigned him and that he's repaying that with being one of our best performers so far.

Read the first two pages, such vitriol, such condemnation of one of our best performers this season, get to where he is given a one year extension and heads falling off all over the place, take a look at yourself !

Let's not pretend that anyone really thought him resigning was a good idea? I didn't and I'm a big fan. I'm really enjoying his form my worry long term is Moyes doesn't put O Brien into the centre, and we lose out on a long term centre back as Tarkowski and Keane will always be the rotational options.

Hindsight a wonderful thing.
It was still a crazy decision to give him the new deal based on historical evidence, but this redemption arc is sonething I'm absolutely here for whilst it lasts.

I did, argued very strongly for it.
Obviously if he goes on a bad run of form then no doubt I'll be tagged so going to enjoy being in my high horse before it inevitably falls at the last hurdle
