I want him to go. It’s a win win for him and us.
Hopefully he will be here next season and his shoulders will be that little bit further back with confidence that an England cap will bring him.
I really do think he will be here for another year and perhaps with the new stadium on the horizon, we can persuade him to stay one more year beyond that. Everton players will want to be here for that, they know what a big deal it is.

Yeah he's very young for a centre back, it'd be a good strategy for him to stay for a season or two and get the right move for him, not just United.
Obviously that'd be better for us too, so we should be having that connversarion with him if United come in for him.

Going to United now would be silly.
I think he himself would actually like to stay another season. If he’s good enough he’s good enough and that big move will always be an option for him so why rush it. He’s enjoying playing for us, he’s well liked all round ect..
United is a bit of a graveyard for promising centre backs

I know it is all talking heads nonsense, but The Athletic writers all seem to include Branthwaite with others missing out. Not sure if they have any inside knowledge into the camp, but it is somewhat reassuring to see the consensus picking him to make the roster.
I watch the English National team and pull for them outside of when they play the US due to my heritage, but I am sure you all know much better than I do on the matter.

Welp. This didn’t age well. Looks like he missed the cut.

Can't believe he's picked Lewis fucking dunk and gomes instead. Absolute waste of space is Southgate. Such a boring cunt

Dunk makes absolutely zero sense. Isn’t Branthwaite the only left footed CB in the pool?

As i'm welsh it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me.
From a selfish point of view i could think oh well great if he's not out there, he can't do any damage to himself
However i am gutted for the lad.
He 100% deserved to go
I would really love for that prick southgate to explain how he came to decide that Dunk and Gomes are a better bet than branthwaite
