He's got ability and does some randomly great things. Erratic as fuck though and not sure you can carry that in a midfield

He plays a lot like Gana which is an issue albeit with a lot more to learn. It’s no coincidence he looked a lot better being pushed onto their midfield with Gana sitting but that’s not going to work against a lot of sides, particularly ones that a more physically stronger in midfield. Neither Gana or Garner can play as a 6 so we need to buy. Happy to loan him if we get the right players in but he did look decent for large parts of the game.

He has shades of Doucoure too. Impressive engine on him but gives the ball away cheaply.

I don’t trust him in any game state besides “we need a goal, go put yourself about to make something happen.”

He’s much like Alcaraz in that respect.

One more midfielder, please, so we can save him for those precise situations.

He seemed half asleep when he came on today.

Yeah it was kind of a worrying substitution tbh. We're winning but hanging on, Gana off for Tim is not the greatest substitution you'll ever see.

Never seen anyone miss that badly that they needed a cuddle from the ref before they could carry on.

“You don’t often see that from a Premier League player” said the commentator…

He's bloody awful, had a stinker tonight and never looks particularly good in any game he plays.

Almost missing the ball with a shot from a great position really sums him up!
