Chilwell's never been the same since that Sure advert. Was the same with Sterling advertising it before that. Has anyone checked our squad for excessive Sure activity?
What did DCL advertise?

I thought it was that Welsh bitter, but then I remembered he chose Braun over Brains.

I like that he's using the word as a plural. Statement about sums it up though, need to add some quality in after years of cutting this squad to the bare minimum.
This isn't too far off from the old 'We'll go with what we've got' chestnut that we loved from him so much.
Didn't watch the whole thing but he actually looks completely shot in that. Although if I was sitting there at 10pm or whatever time it was and getting asked about Seamus Coleman by some random Irish journalist I'd probably look the same. He's enough on his plate without daft post match questions.

Won't hammer the point but some of the press has been saying he looks shot also. "Already burned out" and "dejected looking".
I was quite took aback by him last night, he looked extremely resigned. Maybe just sending a message but he couldn't have been clearer on his opinion on the squad.
Just hoping it was a case of - dyche is no mug, let me look at his starting eleven, see what he was working with.
Was taking notes throughout, his mate in his ear constantly.
Hope he's just had a good luck at them and knows the job he's got on now.

Need some new players, and quick. Probably three or four

I'm hoping it's just a case of having had a bit of a stressful, whirlwind week and all he wants to do is get stuck into trainer and sort things out when in reality he's spent most of the week having to do interviews, getting asked the usual mundane questions and doing photoshoots etc. I don't doubt though that the game has been a real eye opener for him and the cold reality has sunk in that there is a massive job on.

He's always kinda looked, come across like that though.
His natural demeanor and resting face is that of someone who is forlorn and a bit dejected.
He probably is knackered though to be fair, wouldn't read an awful lot into it.

Very clever - although I don’t think Brains sells much up north for the joke to be appreciated enough

We really do need to pull some players out of the hat now. It feels a bit desperate and the January transfer market is never great.
Ndiaye is the only one who can create something out of nothing and Villa surrounded him with 3 players every time he got the ball last night.
Most half decent teams are happy enough defending crosses and we just don't have a lot else at the moment.

He always looked miserable. Dour is the word that was used a lot isnt it?
I think he knew/knows how bad it was. ffs its been horrendous for months. It's not like he hasnt seen anything about the squad/games until last night.
I honestly dont think that 4 days in or whatever is the first time he can see its bad?
