Not subbing on Ashley Young's kid was really a bit mental too.
Really couldn't have given him a couple of minutes at the end?
I think if we were winning comfortably then he wouldve played, but given it was 1-0 going into injury time then bringing on a striker, instead of a defender was 100% the right thing to do. Its harsh on him, but they were there to do a job and to try to get a result, not just roll over for Ashley Young.
I dont know for definite, but I think they said he had only played 1 game this season, so its wasnt a given, and I bet the players that did come on may never get the opportunity to play at somewhere like Goodison again, and they probably deserved it more.

That was never going to be a good game because of the preceeding events. Baines and Coleman wouldn't have had time to set them up in their way, which was why we seemed better second half. Still lack quality and this sideways passing with no purpose suggests they don't know what the plan is.

Yeah poor discipline and planning from us that, but we did bomb our manager and entire coaching team off 3 hours before the game.

Yeah, that was odd.
Honestly though, outside of Dwight who takes a good one?

Gana takes set pieces at international level so maybe it's because of that. Don't think he's actually any good at them mind you.
