Pretty sure that Goodison News site isn't a legit source unfortunately.

Pbrown has reported we have explored this, but in the same breath so have west ham.

Sky now saying potter to west ham close.

Dyche sounds like he's fighting for his life to me. He's an obstinate prickly guy but his overall tone has definitely changed.

Will probably get the Villa and Spurs games if he's still here for this Cup game. This was the ideal time to let him go.

Maybe whoever TFG want isn't available or isn't willing to come, and they don't trust the caretaker options.

Yeah or Potter wants some time to consider both options (us and West Ham).

This is where the fans need to intervene. Let's all offer to wank Potter off, he'd be sorted for life.

Moving on quickly from that - Sky Sport are leaning slightly towards West Ham, but they probably don't know much and are playing for clicks.

I’m disappointed he’s not gone but slightly glad that smug, egotistical, deflecting behaviour looks absent and he’s back to being a ‘custodian’ like when he first arrived.

You'd have thought after being out of work for 18 months after bombing with one of the best squads in the league he would've have had time to reflect on the type of project he'd like to get involved with!

Definitely won’t fancy the most likely relegation candidate of the two with one option promising funds in January and the other unable to promise much.

Why has it turned out like this?

He did a brilliant job last season.
