Gakpo himself knew he was offside, not the slightest hint of a celebration when it went in, just looked straight accross to the linesman.

One thing for Sunday - I wonder if West Ham are due a payout from Arsenal if they win the league as part of the Declan Rice deal?

I despise these tight offside calls. Don't buy them at all. Can't wait for the semi-automated calls next season.

Me too.
Honestly i would fuck the whole of var off, get rid and go back to what we had before.
For me it has sucked the soul out of the game, and even worse the initial undiluted joy of the ball hitting the net has been ruined

Love how the draw the semi cut lines from knees or shoulders on to the ground and then the ground level line , it's pure guess work.

But the game is too fast paced these days and the refs have got too lazy relying var , there would be loads of offside mistakes. If they scrapped it all.

Tbf to Klopp, it's absolutely incredible he's even kept in a title race with Man City given the difference of spending.

How are you meant to compete when you're forced to bring on from the bench the likes of Szoboszlai (£60m), Nunez (£65m) and Gravenberch (£35m)?

Shame that Villa seemed content with a point at the end there, was theirs to win.
