Let's not pretend that anyone really thought him resigning was a good idea? I didn't and I'm a big fan. I'm really enjoying his form my worry long term is Moyes doesn't put O Brien into the centre, and we lose out on a long term centre back as Tarkowski and Keane will always be the rotational options.
Well I did think it was a sensible thing to do so you are wrong on your first point, given the number of players leaving it was the right thing to do and has been proven to be the right decision.

Read the first two pages, such vitriol, such condemnation of one of our best performers this season, get to where he is given a one year extension and heads falling off all over the place, take a look at yourself !
The toffees have won and all you can do is try to cause agro on the internet you weirdo.
Been at it all day. Here’s your reaction. Enjoy your Saturday.

He has to see Watkins yesterday and move towards him to stop his momentum Pickford doesn’t help him either but he is so slow to react and then so fragile when something goes wrong we can’t be playing him any more
Good job we did play him again though eh !

Am definately enjoying the win but it has always pissed me off how quick we are to describe players as shit such as many are saying Garner, KDH, Beto, etc. convinced all will be good.

He's one of my favourite Everton players you know. I don't what the logic is behind it, just got loads of time for the lad.
I'm the same, I think you and I have been about the only two have stuck with him but even then we've had our moments.
I just really like him, genuine lad, good player and not nearly as bad as people make out. Although the thread I started on the old forum saying selling Stones and buying Keane was superb business may have been slightly over the top but it was after one of those stand out, superb performances he can put in not long after we'd signed him.
Can't help but be absolutely delighted for him and all the 'fourth choice' moaners can fuck off.

Great resigning done much better than anyone expected. His best season with us so far, definitely suits playing under Moyes

Maybe the pressure is now off?
He knows he's not meant to be in the team. Knows it's only an extension. So he's able to just enjoy the game time he does get and is showing why we bought him in the first place (I touted him as a future England captain in the early days...)

The more I watch his goal, the funnier it gets, that nonchalant flick of the shoulder to guide the ball in is pure attacking genius.

He’s done tremendously but the real winners are the four people that petitioned for his contract extension. Medals are in the post.
