Swift fire sale to veer clear of ffp for a bit, probably.
Cheers Bill, cheers Farhad

Where's the £40m stuff being quoted? Can't see it anywhere. We paid £33m for him, so I would highly doubt that.

Well we are 2 years into a 5 year contract
So it would be the 4m plus 40% of 35m. 18m total. Plus it would be 7m a year less each each against ffp for the next 3 years. I think that's right
Oh yes I always forget he's been here 2 years not 1 for some reason

I saw a tweet a couple of days ago by Ornstein saying we want around that much and a few other random sources. I’m sure we’d wait until after the euros under normal circumstances but the psr deadline is the end of June. Supposedly we don’t have to sell but who knows the truth

If it's Ornstein and the fee is 'low' then it'll be coming from Arsenal sources, wouldn't pay too much attention to the figure.

We almost surely need to sell by end of the month - him or Branthwaite, maybe DCL instead if we don't think he's signing a new contract.
Onana should be at least £50m plus add-ons but he should be £60m based on the market.

We're not getting top dollar for Onana because it's quite clear he's got his heart set on going. If the player wants to go, invariably they go. The buying club has us over a barrel. Everyone knows we're fucking skint and the player wants to go, so they can afford to low-ball on the fee, knowing full well that we need the cash and definitely don't need a player who has already had his head turned and downed tools.
He's certainly not been showing signs of a player who is 100% commited to the cause and giving his all for a little while now. There's no doubt he's a.massive talent, but he's definitely not showing his promise at Everton at the minute, so really not arsed if he stays.or goes tbh.

Wonder if that's not an English side then because it can only really be Arsenal in which case you may as well state it as them. Who from other countries could afford that?

Now that's more like it. Exposure at the Euros can only help.

Be really handy if we could get him gone before the 1st July like.
Would help with the Branthwaite sitch.
