Good luck to the lad.

I hope he finds some peace and contentment.

I’ll always root for him.

Tbf to him... Without his assist for Richarlison's equaliser against Leicester and his impact against Palace coming at half-time then we'd probably be a championship team. Obviously that doesn't mean he wasn't a terrible bit of business but not entirely without merit even if he barely graced the pitch.

His impact against Palace is a myth, if you rewatch the game - even the "assist".

Shame it never became a great redemption story here but wish him all the luck moving forward. Hope his physical and mental rehabilitation continues in a positive manner.

Feel for him, to be the player he was and should just be at his peak must be very hard to deal with when for one reason and another you can't reach those heights again. Shame all round, if he could have discovered that form again it would have been an amazing signing but it didn't work out unfortunately.

I wish him nothing but good luck in the future.

I mean that's just nonsense. Without Holgates header back. Without keanes finish. Without maupays 1 goal. We can do it for everyone. Good luck to the lad but let's not pretend he contributed anything

We paid him 12m for nothing. If you want to put a positive spin on that go for it but it's a struggle for me. What about that tosun. Lovely bald spot

A crazy risk that could have paid off but the odds were always low. Have zero issue with the support we have given him since though and wish the lad good luck

Think the way we structured the deal meant it was always extremely likely that Us, Spurs and Ali were always going to end up disappointed. The only reason the ridiculous structure wasn't a much bigger issue is because he flopped so badly
