If Seamus and Bains are happy to take care of things it suggests to me that they are happy to see the back of him and not throwing a strop because they were supportive of him, glad to see tge back of Woan and Stone too, reckon they were stealing a wage.

I was at my lowest level of interest and how I’d let our results impact me in 40 years of following the club. Dyche had taken any joy I used to get from watching us play. Had barely even been on here for a year but now I’m feeling a sense of joy again. Hope to duck we get the next appointment right.

He had to go. Glad they haven’t waited. Not scoring in 8 out of 10 games is criminal.

However, as much as this season, especially the last 10 games have been so poor, we have to thank him for last season.

He led a ship under Moshiri that was sinking and got us through a very very difficult set of circumstances. The football was awful but he kept us up. They does mean something and not everyone would have had the character to lead us away from danger.

He is a seemingly decent bloke, but just out of his depth when looking to get the club back to where we want to be; not in a relegation battle.

Fully expect dyche to be on with keys and Andy gray telling them how hard done by he was and how it was all circumstances that went against him

I do actually wish him good luck in the future.

Think he did a legitimately excellent job for two seasons and might’ve been fine this one if we didn’t meltdown against Bournemouth.

The way we’ve crawled back into our shells since then tells me that he’s likely to go on in Allardyce fashion, saving and steadying clubs until it goes stale then moving on to the next one. He doesn’t like to spend the way Sam does so it’ll be a good second act for him.

He’s good at what he does, he just doesn’t seem to have what Moyes has, the ability to improve his sides to actually playing decent football at times.

Really didn’t like the regression to talking absolute shit at the end. One of the things I praised him for was not acting like the meat and potatoes being served up were a gourmet meal (Sam’s favorite pastime) but he kind of slid into this is the best that can be done which might not be far from the truth but is still ultimately a lie (it’s not a good squad but they aren’t THAT bad as footballers, with a few exceptions).

Anyway, thanks for a job mostly well done. Not sure how many managers would’ve come to work for Moshiri and could’ve steered the club through the points deductions. He’s in a unique class for that.

Even when we make the right decision we make it in such a weird way. The afternoon of a game when our last game was 5 days ago !
