Just damage limitation from here to the rest of the window.

Get whatever we can to make the squad stronger so we’re not going into games with four players out of position and Tim playing centre mid.

There’s players there available on a free or on loan that would have made us look a lot better tonight.

It’s too late now to turn this into a successful window. Just don’t make it a really bad one and get the numbers in.

Don’t spend two weeks negotiating for Tyler Dibling. At this point, a player like him should be way down on our list of priorities.

Get full backs and two midfielders in asap. We can probably make do without a right winger now, even though we still desperately need one.

We can’t make do without full backs or midfielders. If we don’t get them in then we are in massive trouble.

Yea sorry we need a fucking RB who can play football and a CM who can protect the defence and put their foot on the ball a bit more than a RW.

Insane that we haven't found a RB after mssing out on Tete 2 months ago now.

It also makes the job of whoever is on the wings a lot harder when our fullbacks can't actually offer anything going forward, not point signing Dibling if he'll be up against a fullback and winger every time he gets on the ball because we have a 6'6 CB lumbering down the wing trying to overlap.

Seems to be nothing doing, not even bullshit.

Very weird.

how has our entire list of right backs to sign, seemingly contained one name in Tete

It's been a poor window, not like it hasn't been obvious what we need since Moyes arrived. Just hope something happens within the next 2 weeks now, still 4/5 players needed.

Shocking letting us come into the season like this after so many departures from last season. This committee way of doing things hasn't worked at all. I know Moyes dithers with transfers, but even he's been disappointed with the people behind the scenes for the lack of movement. Leeds fans did say that Kinnear was great on the commercial side of things but poor on the transfers side so maybe that's where the issue lies. Either way TFG need to sort out whatever the fuck is going on and get the right people so this doesn't happen again.

All very quiet on the western front. Anyone have any idea where Thelwell left his list? Beginning to look like we have spent the window chasing luxuries and have completely overlooked the requirement for a solid family saloon or a people carrier. Badly need a few 7 out of 10 solid pros who can play their positions. It surely cant be that hard.

Had DCL or Doucoure still been at the club they would have started last night, which tells us everything we need to know about the window and how much stronger we are as a squad.

That was a worrying display, particularly from the pov of - we are already at make shift jury-rigged A-team strap it together with paperclips and hair ties territory. If you had £45m Tyler dibbling on the pitch it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference, there is absolutely no system because there is hardly a semblance of a first eleven.

Worst full back options in the league by a country mile. Fix that today.

One prem level cm. Fix that today.

We probably can get by with Beto / Barry, especially if Barry has the potential we hope, but we can't get by playing random heads at full back and hoping Gueye can just hold a midfield together himself for the 10th season.

It's pathetic, sort it out.

I was very cautious with the appointment of Kinnear. Something not quite right - just a gut feeling, nothing to change my mind to date. Does anyone know how he's done at Leeds and West Ham?

Every bit as bad as a Moshiri window this, if not worse.

Successful teams in this league are prioritising strong runners who can physically beat the opposition.

Our squad at the moment looks to be the slowest and weakest in the whole league.

I can’t believe we haven’t added either a quick winger, a quick, strong full back, or a physical midfielder

How have we spent the last two weeks trying to sign a slow, neat and tidy 19 year old from Southampton with how our squad looks?

No point in having Grealish, or ndyaie on the pitch if we can’t physically compete and win the ball back.

Doucoure a huge miss, as is Mangala tbh. How have we not even looked at replacing them?

Why do we keep hearing that moyes and the club don’t see full back as a priority?

Look at what happened last night and adjust quickly.

45m for a prospect looks absolutely ridiculous after last night. Even grealish looks a daft vanity signing. We needed pace, we needed a right back, right winger, holding midfielder. We are chasing a young player who's done nothing in the game at around a club record fee and paying 250k a week to someone whos possibly not worth thay and almost certainly isn't really what was required

Same old shit. Our own worst enemy

Jackson Tchatchoua (bless you) has joined Wolves. He's a right back we were linked with in previous windows.
