Threw the towel in hasn't he.

Already getting the 'what else could he have done' stuff.

It's on the players and whoever the new man is to prove him wrong over the rest of the season now.

By all accounts TFG as owners go about their business silently and the soonest the fans hear about it is when they do something. They are not a talky talky transparent owner, they never have been. They just conduct all business quietly. It doesn't mean there is no plan, or a decision has been made rashly, even though the timing on this one is admittedly weird.

This was well noted from those journalists profiling TFG long before the buyout was finalised.

We just need to get used to it.

If he’s told the club he can’t do the job anymore but said he won’t resign then he deserves everything he gets.

I’m glad he’s gone, I’m not going to call him a cunt as he worked small miracles to keep us up the last two seasons. He is due some respect for that.

However, this season he has been the problem. It is ironic that 3 games against Bournemouth have defined his legacy. A last game win to stay up, the 2-3 at home which was kind of the final straw when, it seems, he lost all faith in the players and they apparently lost all faith in him and last Saturday when he showed the world he was a busted flush. He is due no respect for that.

I’m hoping part of the delay was the owners getting the pieces in place to take us forward. I get some of the push back by media hacks about how he deserved better than a match day sacking, it is standard behaviour, wheeling the wagons round to defend a “proper football man”, etc. Conveniently forgetting the unbelievable shite we’ve had to endure the last few months and the craven response of Dyche as he threw in the towel.

Fuck them, they are manufactured, they do not understand and they really, really don’t fecking matter. Embrace the new!

Well it depends what the expectations are. Why should he resign because he can't meet the new owners expectations.

Telling your bosses you can’t do any more when you’re doing terribly (if that’s what happened) is basically sacking yourself

No, but potentially a painful honest moment for him.

If he has genuinely turned round and said something like "I can't get anymore out of this group, and if you want more then you'll need to find someone else' then it might be the most honest thing he's said this season.

I appreciate this is a difficult time for you right now. It will be ok, Dychey will find a new job, a new found happiness. A new lease or life if you will.
