Adli to Bournemouth 25m, same price as KDH, younger, can play right left centre across the front behind the striker, goals and assists.
Always bought him on FM, think 22/23 version... Absolute star in the making if that's anything to go by.

Come on, Adli looks like he's had a similar career at Leverkusen that Dewsbury-Hall had at Chelsea, both haven't played many minutes, KDH arguably in a better squad. They have similar pass success, similar goals and assists (granted KDH played in the Championship for part of it). One is 25 the other is 26. Yes Adli is much quicker.
There is a lot to bash the club over, but not this Bournemouth singing over Dewsbury-Hall. Same price, same output pretty much. We've not missed out on a potential star.

He's played 4 seasons and over 4k minutes for them with goals and assists per 90 of more than 0.50. KDH has played one season at Chelsea, with less than 300 minutes and done nothing.
Dewsbury-Hall in the champ - 0.46.
Dewsbury-Hall in the prem - 0.15
He's also 27 in a few weeks.
Not saying we missed out on a star, but I am saying this signing looks more baffling by the week. Unless we've signed him as a CM which some seem to think.
What dya reckon, is this small, slow, tidy player who's best football has been in the ten in the second division of English football been signed to compete against the world's biggest, strongest, quickest midfields?
Reeks of he's available get him in.

Reckon he was earmarked for a loan late in the window but we just decided to buy him after moyes kicked off.
He’ll eventually move deeper to try and fix that mess of a midfield if we don’t sign at least two centre mids, which we won’t do.
Some decent signs from him though but I’m not sure he’s the type of player we needed if the manager is deciding to play him in the attacking third.

My thoughts as well.
I think he will be Absolutely OKAY. Which I don't want from a 27 year old for £25m.
Id rather him further forward personally and a proper midfield.

I think people are underestimating him based on one game where we had an awful set up and saw almost none of the ball (especially first half).
Not a massive fan of him being used in the 10 though, we need a proper DM in the style of Palhinha who can just sit and mop everything up, then utilise KDH and Gana as dual 8s, Grealish off the left and Ndaiye right in a 4-3-3, or Grealish and KDH as dual 8s if we buy an RW.
I worry Moyes, for all his qualities, is another stubborn manager who doesn't like to play anything other than his 4-4-1-1 system even if the players we have would perform better in a different one.

He plays 4231 but we haven't got a double pivot able to play.
We haven't got a rice OR a soucek, or a Bowen, or an Antonio (Barry?).
We've got 3 or 4 10s / LW (Fornals, Paqueta...Benrahama), no fullbacks who get beyond.
I think we'll have lots of games with square pegs and weird stuff where we say "ah well we can't really judge because..." And then before we know it it will be Jan.

Wolves just signed a rapid RB from Hellas we where linked with at the start of the window.....12 million. Van Ewijk still there at Coventry probably similar price, why is it we see it but our recruitment team twiddle their thumbs?

I know it's supposed to be 4-2-3-1 but most of the time it ends up being 4-4-1-1 because we never have any control of the game.
I think if we could dominate a game we'd see it more as 4-2-3-1 but we're very conservative in how we play it for the reasons above which means it ends up 4-4-1-1 more often than not.
I'd absolutely love to see us play it offensively and as other teams do, but it very rarely happens.

Few links to Christantus Uche of Getafe today. He has a 25mil release clause. Is described as a Bulldozer with balletic qualities. Looks amazing from the YouTube compilation . Is a number 6 (literally for Getafe), 2 footed and about 6 foot 5, apparently versatile as well
I’m all in

Christantus Uche.......Sounds like a Bond villain. A billionaire one eyed Olympic gold medal fencing champion who made his money smuggling gold in bars of Dubai Chocolate.

Uche appears to be a centre forward.
Unless we’ve got plans for Beto, I don’t see it.

Says he’s an attacking mid who can play CF and CM when you do a search. €25m release clause
