I actually think one of the keys to our resurgence, as well as the tactical stuff, is that there's quite a few players who want to be here and enjoy playing for us, rather than feeling like they are doing us a favour (manager included).

It's not possible for me to agree with this more.
Team spirit is always an unquantifiable ingredient.
For decades, you'd get certain managers with certain teams beating all the odds (Forest, Ipswich even us) and getting to the top of the pile. Only for the managers and players never to quite get back there again.
And those that did are the ones you consider all time greats.
Money has created an embedded situation now. But it's still very important

Leicester another good example of this.
I've listened to a load of ex pros on podcasts who back this up too.

He fucking loves it here doesn't he?
Incredible engine, great goal scorer, just a top player since Dyche has come in and really played to his strengths.

Great stay, although technically he's playing as a support striker but I'm not going to question it too much

What a player.
He isn’t just scoring tap ins. He’s scoring brilliant goals on a regular basis.
Just truly baffling how the best of all time at late runs into the box thought this fella wasn’t good enough.
The catalyst for the turnaround over the last year.

You've never been more right than you were about this man.
I've not always been his biggest fan and he can still be frustrating to watch at times, but have always maintained he should just be getting himself in the box and getting on the end of it, should be a ten goal a year man with his endless energy and nose for a goal and he's well on his way now.

When he came on against Western Sydney under Frank I remember thinking I have never seen anyone looking so utterly dejected with such terrible body language. He looked like a broken man. No grin, no swagger, no salute.
Fair to say a bit has changed since then. From bottom of the pile to the top.

Dunno if your serious, or if you're just asking for what i sing when it's a league game haha.
But i'm shouting "just like the team, that's gonna stay in the premier league" instead of gonna win the FA cup at the moment.
I love it, not because of it's simple lyrics, but it's very much a communal thing. A collective intransigence about the desire to win and it always feels like we sing it loudest when we're the battling underdogs in a competition but have faith. Something that has been missing massively of late.
