Only way this falls through for something like that would be if he failed a medical but there's been nothing anywhere to suggest he's at that stage of things.

Didn't he pull the plug on the Leeroy Fer deal when he discovered about the knee injury?
Also pulled out of signing Sean Davis when we had chased him all summer. Got history of doing it.
Let's wait and see though

He played thirty+ premier league games in two of the last four seasons
