So Moyes can not play him or if he dare, hook him off at HT?

So Moyes can not play him or if he dare, hook him off at HT?
Can we please appreciate what a player we have on our hands here. He was constantly all over the pitch. Future full england international in the making!!
Incredible player.
You'd swear he was at least 6 years older than he is.
Wow, wow, wow and wow. This lad, in my opinion, could go on to win everything in the game if he's this good at 18.
Unbelievable talent. Hard to comprehend he’s only 18!
That was his coming out party for me. Clearly the best midfielder we have already.
He'll play for England no doubt.
The real deal. Best midfielder we’ve had in a long, long time.
Like George from the LEP said on the podcast, not wanting to over hype him too much but has a little bit of Bellingham about him when he rode out in the champ. Just glides all over the pitch with decent physicality for his age.
Sky’s the limit for this young lad one of the best I’ve seen.
The only other player I’ve been certain will play for England is Pickford
Be surprised if he’s not in the U20s or even the 21s by the next break. Absolutely humiliated Sydie Peck who is in the U21s
The game changed when he took hold of the midfield. He absolutely ran the show for that second half, never stopped running and was putting in challenges that he won which he had no right to do. That shouldn’t be happening at his age, you’d expect an older and more experienced player to be doing that.
I agree, I mentioned it on the matchday thread, but he’s every bit as good as Jude was for Birmingham, I’m not saying he’ll go onto to play for Real, but he’ll be in England’s first 11 and play at the highest level, no question. (Apart from flair players, fuller McGeady) that was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen, he just seemed to be everywhere and won everything.
He's going to be some player in a few years, covers so much of the pitch, good defensively ad well as in posession, and still only 18
Could potentially be our best ever loan player. He’ll be starting in midfield for Everton next season
Lad was an absolute beast tonight, heck of a motor and is going to be a top premier league player.
I think he's going to go down as the best midfielder I've seen play for PNE.
An 18yr old should not be that good off the ball, he reads shit three passes in advance.
Wow! Just makes the game look easy. Top talent. Enjoy him while we can!!
Absolutely. I remember years ago when we played Arsenal in that Kurt Nogan cup tie, I noticed Patrick Vieira had a very rare ability to create 10 yards of space for himself just by knowing which way to turn when he received the ball, which made him stand out so much. Harrison also has this ability at such a young age which is amazing to see. Not many have that.
I was calling for him to be subbed at half time as his first half performance was woeful, constantly giving the ball away, thank God he wasn't. 2nd half was one of best midfield performances I've seen at Deepdale. Absolute unit for his age too, a fantastic talent.
^ I wasn't going that far but I was saying how we were missing McCann. A massive part of Armstrongs performance that second half was filling that void. He was hunting players down off the ball in the same way but also doing far more than Ali does with the ball too. Sensational 45 mins.
One of those amazing occasions with a young player where the hype is very obviously real. Will have a huge career, this lad.
He's going to the very top love it that at 18 he's constantly talking and pointing to players so mature class act
Oh yeah, he ain’t ousting Garner, young Jimmy will be a mainstay whilst Moyes is here I feel.toffee_scot wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 11:27 pm The more minutes and games he can get on loan the better.
You just know if he came back here in January, Moyes would just continue to play Garner in midfield.
