Train from Manchester delayed an hour... our transport is the joke of Europe
Ouch. I left buying tickets till I was on tram heading to Piccadilly. 11.54 delayed till 12.01 but no biggie.
Did you switch trains?

Reckon getting there will always be ok.
Trains can fit only for as many people as they fit and will only turn up at the designated times.
So you're just exiting the station with a full train of people.
Getting home is where the stress is

Luckily waited it out. Another blue said he was going to Oxford road as there was a train there. 5 minutes after he left the train pulled in. They made it express too because of the delay

The other train was a stopper

Any update on how getting in and out was today? I know obviously the numbers leaving were reduced by the legends game but I've not really seen any complaints about things today other than the concourses being busy.

I stayed for the legends game and had a nice walk back afterwards. Probably not representative of a normal match day though and I won't be doing that walk in mid Feb when its freezing.

Got the train from Rock Ferry to James Street in the end. My uncle stayed on to get the soccer bus but me and my cousins walked from James St and got to the ground at least half an hour before they did.

Got in just on kick off and had to queue a bit. This was cos there was a demo for those national front bellends and I couldn't get to my car park. I was home probably a bit before I would have been coming home from Goodison

Got off after the initial match and had a couple in town before going home.
Big test for Sandhills will be those Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday night matches where everyone will just want to get home.

I am doing my dissertation on transport to and from the Hill Dickinson Stadium. If you attended the test match against Roma, I would be very grateful if you could answer a few questions on your transport experience.
